Stitching to Share!

Wow I've got stitching to share!

This year I joined the Stitching Blogger Birthday Club, and my partner's birthday was January 9th! So I have to say I was in a bit of a panic to get something made and sent out in time! Well I didn't get the parcel in the mail to arrive in time for her birthday, but that's because I wanted to make her something. I did get it in the mail on January 10th (the day after her b-day) and I was assured it would get to Venezuela in 4-6 days well it took more like 6 weeks! She finally got it today... the last week of February. Needless to say Nela is over the moon with what I sent her! There were also a bunch of extra goodies, but I didn't take a picture.

  11. What a darling tin topper.

I've always wanted to do one of these, but I'm concerned I'd make a mess. I'm pretty basic... stitch and frame.

  15. Hi Dani,

Lovely stitching project that you did for Nela. It was well worth waiting for. The purples and the yellow really are pretty together and I love the matching braided cord trimming the inside of the tin.

Wow, you sure have a lot of stitching "work" to do in the next month. Hope those models aren't too big.

Your Victorian Lace snowflake turned out beautifully. Do you know how you will be finishing it?

Moonlight Guardian is well on it's way, now that the boarder is all stitched up. It's always such a relief when everything meets up nicely, on the same line, when stitching a boarder.

So you don't want to spend your March break here in the great white north, waiting for another snow storm, or Spring, to arrive??? Can't say as I blame you.

    Cheers!
