Yup, Its a Border!

Well, this weekend I really SHOULD of started one of the three models I've got to get done... two which are due April 1st (I thought it was one but after checking my correspondence its two)! Alas, I did not. I wanted to complete my February goals and I've just completed my last one. That was to finish the border on Moonlight Guardian (which I hadn't touched since the beginning of January).

So here's the completed border on Moonlight Guardian (Dragon Dreams)

When I did finish this I pulled out the first of three models for A Needle Pulling Thread and got a start on that. Now the question is... tomorrow do I put in some time on Tour Des Marques? Or do I focus on my model. What do you think?

Oh yeah! We did get our tickets for the Police! We're actually in the lower level (not the floor) at the opposite end of the rink from the stage.

  3. Great projects you have been working on Dani. Love your Michael Powell. I stitched one of his pieces and you are so right - the backstitching truly makes the piece come to life.

  8. I would get the models done and out of the way! You don't want to have to spend a bunch of evenings under the dreaded deadline closer to your birthday!
Oh yea, I changed the colours for my DREAM - and they really don't show up well on the picture...it all looks very faded and washed out because I had to play with the photo editor to get the colours to show at all! I just opened my boxes of DMC and started pulling colours that I liked :-0

I would love to join in your TdM SAL! Thank you for asking me.:) However, I am not sure if I will get a chance to start tonight. So I would work on one of the models. There is always next Monday for TdM.:)

  17. The border looks great, congrats on getting it done and meeting that part of your Feb. goal. As to what to stitch on, that would be a hard one, what you want to stitch vs. what you should stitch. Wishing you smooth stitching whichever one you pick.

  18. The border looks great!

You can probably postpone the model for another night - I find they really don't take too long to stitch up, once you get past the evil DMC metallic! :-)

  19. Now I am very biased... I love watching the Tour Des Marques coming to life so that is what I would pick for you to work on. Bur that's just me! Good luck deciding, although given the time of my day you probably already have.

The border looks great. Enjoy the Police!
