Some Quick Shots

I have to say lately, the weather has been crap... also like a broken record! Chance of rain, thundershowers, yadda, yadda. On the other side of this, we've had some beautiful sunsets. Tonight on my way home from my second to last photography class I stopped along the way and took these shots.

I worked on my Fair and Square today, I'd have to say the main block is half finished. Soon I'll need to find an alphabet for the name square!

  10. Hi Dani,

    Mmmm...I love pictures of misty
    countryside views. And you have
to admit that all this rain has
    kept everything lush and green.
I'm biased because I love the
rain, but I prefer this to long
bouts of hot, dry weather when
    things get withered and parched
and the grass turns yellow and
brittle. And now the humidity is
    back. Thank goodness for A/C.

    Your lighthouse square for
    Robyn's RR turned out beautifully.
    Love the bright, cheery colours
in this one. And it anchors the
corner of the project nicely. I
can just hear the ocean lapping
against the shore and hear the
gulls crying when looking at your
    square. You always choose such
    wonderful designs for the RR's
you're in, and they look amazing.

    Happy Canada Day!! Cheers!

  12. I have been reading your blog for many months now and I must say I love your style and enjoy reading about your many and varied interests. The photography is lovely, the framing most impressive, and the breadth and depth of the stitchery is phenomenal. I do envy you your many stitching companions ... as a "lone stitcher" whose LNS is almost always online, I appreciate the luxury it must be to be able to share your love of stitching with so many other gifted people.

  13. I love photos where the sky shows the sunrise or sunset, such pretty coloring. Lots of rain here too, it was a challenge this week fitting in mowing when it dried out enough between rains. However, mowing had to be done, with the rain and the warmth the grass is growing like crazy.
