She Emerges

Tonight I had a real treat and I got to meet up with Kathy for dinner! She's in the area to watch her gandkids, and managed to find some time to meet me at our favourite restaurant, Lone Star where we really, really, really enjoyed our fajitas!

I was telling Kathy about this photo tonight, so I suppose I should share it. Its from my photography assignment. It is the view from Kathy's place. How idyllic is that?

Tonight I got to spend a little bit more time with Moonlight Guardian, and the dragon starts to emerge! Can you see her head??? She is such a lovely stitch!

You are so quick! I wish I could stitch as fast as you do. It's really looking good.

  2. Wonderful photo - I could imagine myself sitting in one of those chairs all day ... with stitching or a good book in hand, of course :)

It's great to see your dragon taking shape - she looks somewhat darker than mine (I replaced the rayons with the equivalents in floss), so it'll be interesting to see the final effect. Keep going!

  6. Thanks Dani for taking the time to visit with me. It was nice to talk to a grown up and listen to a different kind of noise. We always have something to talk about don't we. MG is looking lovely.

  7. I love the way your Moonlight Guardian is shaping up. I finished the Ice Kingdom Dragon recently and had a really hard time getting the rayon floss to lay properly but it was worth the effort. I have 5 more Dragon Dreams charts in my stash and will be starting on the Winter Moon and Summer Sky dragons shortly. But now I am going to have purchase Moonlight Guardian, too. Though I think my favorite of all Jennifer Aiken-Smith's work is The Guardian, another chart on my wish list.
