Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

Argh! I can't loose for trying! Yes, that's what I said ... I can't loose for trying. Last night's weigh in didn't go well, for some strange and unknown reason I GAINED A POUND! Argh!!!! I had a good week, tracked everything, and exercised a lot! I just don't get it. Why does it get so hard at the end?

I haven't stitched much in the last few days, so there's nothing to show you.

  1. weight is a funny thing, it'll probably average out next week, probably with a loss. I've been exercising for a month so far, and my weight is fluctuating, but not really going down... Don't despair, you've done amazingly well so far and are a real inspiration to us 'fatties'.

  13. You've done great so far. As I start a workout routine, I think of how great you've done and I know that it can be done. Muscle does weigh more, so just think of it as becoming a bit more buff. I know you'll do great next week.

  19. Hi Dani,

Go ahead and vent!! Yell and
    throw things. Wave your arms
in the air and jump up and down!
    When you're done protesting
that 1 pound weight gain and
    worked out your frustrations
you'll have most likely lost that
1 pound again. It'll work. Go
for it! And it'll feel so good!!

    Your Maple Leaf finish is
    pretty awesome. I was admiring
    the colours and the shadowy
    maple leafs in the background
    when I suddenly realized that
there were faces in the body
    of the leaf! DOH! Cool!
    Sir John A. a wolf, a salmon
and small maple leaf. Did I
    miss anything??

    Crazy weather these days eh??
    Thankfully the worst seems to
be behind us now and although
it'll be cold again at least
the sun will be out. I'll
    take it.

Hope the headaches at night are
easing up. Don't over do the
    stitching and strain your eyes.

    Cheers!!
