What is it with guys and long hair on ladies. Steve really wishes I would let mine grow, but I think he's finally resigned to the fact that it will always be short. LOL
I think it looks great! Enjoy it! (I'm lucky that my DH prefers my hair shorter than longer...he says there's a lot less of it around the house that way!)
I really like the shorter do. Most men don't like shorter hair on women. I think it goes back to Old Testament days. My DH has just grown to accept my hair is short, but I don't think he really likes it.
I think it looks rather lovely. My husbands the same, prefers longer hair, but here in Aus in Summer its so disgustingly hot that long hair is a pain to deal with, so I always take a bit of length off when the warmer weather starts.
It is not easy to find someone who looks great in both long and short hair but you do :0)) You look great! I just cut my hair short, like yours yesterday too!
Dani, it looks fantastic ! *wolf whistle* Todd will like it once he's used to it. Aaron was the same for me, but once he got used to it... he no longer wants me to have long hair. Go figure.
There you are cutting your long hair short, and here am I trying to grow my short hair long or at least longer.
Yours is instant gratification, mine is going to be a contest to see if I can manage to get through the transition period when the hair is a pain in the you-know-where until it's all one length.
I often loose patience before getting to the all one length goal and end up chopping the lot off in a fit of annoyance. I really look funny in a buzz cut ya know.
Your little monograms look wonderful all finished and gathered together like that. You could make an alphabet tree and hang them up for Christmas.
But what a heck of a lot of work that must have been, finishing all those ornaments.
My sympathies regarding those insidious pounds that have crept back onto the scale. I ate two little chocolate bars on Saturday and then sent the leftovers with DH to his work today to get them out of the house.
Use to be a time when I deliberately bought LOTS of those things so that there would be lots left over after Halloween and I would munch away happily on them by the fist full.
Your new haircut looks great on you, gives you a more casual, free, and youthful look, but also with long hair you look good, it is important that you feel comfortable. I do not understand the fixation of men in long hair, my hair is gray, silver (to my 38 years!) I like to wear short, especially in the very hot summer in Madrid (40 C), but my husband likes more when my hair is long, despite the gray ... guy things ..
Women are just as entitled to the convenience of short hair as men are ... the men who think differently should be forced to blow dry, style, curl or straighten the hair of someone who has the length they prefer ... they should also have to investigate the cost of purchasing all the expensive styling products and equipment that go along with long hair. I am sure after doing so just once, they will keep their preferences to themselves.
