Stitching Progress & Photo Hunt

Boy, all I wanted to do this week was STITCH!  Too bad silly things like work, and exercise kept getting in the way!  Besides those silly things I think I did well this week.

Teresa Wentzler's Byzantine Ornament #3

The Accolade, almost finished another row on this!

The end of Art Deco Spirits is getting closer and closer!  I'm filling in all the black at the moment

I missed last week's PhotoHunt, so I'll get us caught up on that before I get to this week's in my next post.  The theme for last week was "Hands"

This is from my friend Jason's wedding in July of 2010, I stitched Wedding Row for Jason & Roxanne

  3. Nice progress on your WIPs. I can understand that at the low temperatures you are having at the moment it's best to be home and stitch. Fortunately your furnace works again.

I LOVE the red and gold together on Ornament #3. Very pretty!

Steve was eyeing the WRX STI Subaru while we were at the dealer today. Can you just imagine the trouble he would get it with that????

  24. Lovely stitching and good progress..I read back and I can honestly say I love mondays, because I no longer belong to the out of home work force.. I say out of home, because being retired could mean you never have a day off!! LOL
But DH and I have tuesdays as our hobby days and thursdays as our trip out some where days... but we don't have -30 degrees to cope with just -4 so you have every right to be a little bit perspect about mondays!! LOL
    Happy Days

  28. Great progress Dani. I hope you are now warm and toasty! That cold sounds brutal - we have been having a cold spell in the 30's Fahrenheit and we desert dwellers are freezing (yes we're spoiled). DH and I had to have the furnace repairman out this week as well but fortunately it was a very minor thing fixed easily and for low cost. The weather seems to be going crazy everywhere lately.
