We went out to Mississippi Lake with Ed's new toy, it was HOT it was SUNNY it was a perfect day to be out on the lake!

We fished, and I caught my first fish in a few years, a nice big, smelly, slimy Pike!

I'm good to go!!!! I have never tried it before either... my attempts were getting better but I never got up
Ed got the closest to "up"
I will be having some adventures in the upcoming weeks and definitely some time to work on a serious case of "stitcher's butt"

ReplyDeleteI never made it up on the skis but I did manage to get up on a board that my BIL had made to make things easier. Haven't tried again for years and I'm certain I'd never get up now!

ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so jealous!! My parents had a boat when I was growing up and we would water ski all the time. I miss it so much! The trick is to lean back and let the boat pull you up. It's like getting off a (snow) ski lift, I think, because that's the only part of snow skiing I am good at, LOL! Of course, you have to have someone driving the boat who knows what they are doing, or it's impossible! (They have to accelerate properly....)

ReplyDeleteWaterskiing is tough for me. My center of gravity is really low, my arm strength is puny and my balance stinks, so I get pulled forward onto my face! LOL. Glad you had a great time.
