My stash... boy oh boy its organized like there's no tomorrow! After finishing up the JBW bear yesterday I realized my little "thread collecting" basket was full! After I finish a project I put the floss into a little blue plastic basket I have and once its full or I can't find something I'm looking for I empty it out and organize all my floss and put it all back where it belongs.
Its like a zen moment for me.
OMG I do the exact same thing! Right down to the floss at the end of each project!!

I used to be a teacher-librarian, so I like to organise my floss as well - another sister stitcher! I am just reorganising all of mine using the stitchbow system. It is going to be really great when I finally finish. I intend to have all of the DMC floss at my fingertips.

ReplyDeleteI love to be organized, too; at least with my craft stuff. It just makes you feel good to know where something is and to just be able to go and get it. I may have to try organizing my books and movies alphabetically...

ReplyDeleteMy stash is mainly in a book shelf, the things that don't fit in the shelves are in containers which sit on the floor near the book shelf. I think I need a bigger book shelf!!!!
