20 Years Ago Today
20 Years ago today I asked Todd out.
We started dating near the end of the school year 20 years ago, Todd had come to my school for the year to take advantage of the technical courses offered there. During the second semester we were in the same Design and Technology class. I don't think I realized he existed for most of the semester until I got dumped. Then I started to notice this tall dark haired, blue-eyed fellow in my class. As June rolled around I knew I didn't have much longer to wait for him to ask me out. So I found the guts to ask him out.
Who would of believed that 20 years later we're still together, our relationship gets stronger each year. Things truly do get better with age.

ReplyDeleteI walked up to my (now) husband in 1982 at freshman orientation for college and introduced myself. Which for me is like super crazy, because I have generalized anxiety disorder and am so shy I like to hide under tables.
