July IHSW Report

I fully intended to have this wonderful blog entry for you with a great IHSW update but as I was sitting here at my computer this HUGE storm came through (bad enough to almost send me to the basement... and I've lived in Texas!) and out went the power until after 1am.  Thus no wonderful update yesterday.

I'm sure I had some wonderful and witty things to say to amuse you all... but that's now gone, lost.  Its that whole short memory thing I think.

After

I'm SO looking forward to Thursday at 3PM!  I start 3 weeks of holidays!  It looks like this year is going to be a staycation, I really have no plans, the only thing is an overnighter to Montreal with my friend Marliene to practice our photography skills.  Wow, dull for me isn't it?

  1. Hey Dani,

We had a brief, intense downpour of rain last
night and rumblings of thunder. The rain
probably lasted less then ten minutes. An hour
later when I headed off to bed I looked out the
window and the street looked as dry as if it
    had never rained at all.

Your stitching mojo is working well again I
see. I love all those fabulous colours in Spring
Mandala. Do you plan to stitch all of these
    seasonal Mandalas?

When vacation is on the horizon your mind
tends to fixate on that to the exclusion of
all else. I've got two weeks off starting with
the long weekend and I'm counting down
the minutes!!!! A staycation for us here at
home as well, except for the odd day trip
plus our annual Christmas in August party.
    Ohhh ... I can't wait.

    Cheers!
