Fantastic IHSW!!!

Well, I had such a great IHSW that I had to report before going to bed tonight, instead of putting it off until tomorrow night.  Honestly I don't know what I'm going to feel up to doing tomorrow.  We're having a 10th Anniversary celebration at work tomorrow... which takes place after a full day of work.  So coming home and flaking out might be very tempting!

Delightful Dragon Fob - Front

Stitched with DMC, Kreinik #4 Braid & Cord, Mill Hill Beads

First up, on Saturday I had a little finish!!!  I wrapped up the front on Dragon Fob I showed you Saturday morning.  That evening I got a start on the back.

Delightful Dragon Fob - Back

Which I'm very happy to say I finished off this evening.  Now these two pieces are awaiting finishing.

Count Your Blessings - Shakespeare's Peddler

Speaking of finishing, I seem to have found my "finishative" lately!  This morning I pulled out a finish from earlier this year, this is one of the travelling patterns going about lately.  I finished it into a flat fold, it is backed with the red plaid fabric its sitting on.  I haven't quite decided where its going yet.  I could put it in the prayer corner of my LC at work (Learning Commons, forget the term Library... its outdated now!) or I'm tempted to give it to someone, I have a couple of people in mind.  Things of a Religious nature aren't really my thing, I just wanted to be part of a travelling pattern.

ABC Sampler

This evening after finishing up my TW, I didn't work on any of the projects I showed you in my previous post.  I pulled out something "new-ish" instead.  This piece belongs to Kathy, she sent it out as a UFO RR and not as much of it got done as she hoped.  She made a comment back in September that she would just love it if this piece reappeared almost finished.  Apparently anyone who works on this is not allowed to touch the "N" for Nutcracker block!  I worked on gold outlining tonight, everything you see above Holly was put in tonight.  This gold is going to have to be done in fits and spurts, its not bad metallic but not the best either.

  31. What a great weekend of stitching.
Love TW and love your fob.
I stitched the TP a while back but didn't think of it as particularly religious! I think the phrase has lost that meaning here to a certain extent.
Kathy is mad keen on nutcrackers, isn't she!
