It's a mystery... You start with two even strands of thread and somewhere in the stitching process, you loose thread.
Where does it go? There's no knots ore loops in the back. It's just gone!
As the title says, there must be a Bremuda Triangle for thread out there.
- thanks for reading!
Wow! That's a significant amount of thread to lose! I've lost a little here and there, but I don't think I've lost that much.
ReplyDeleteDefintely a Bermuda triangle, lol. It happens all the time, but rarely that much. Like you I always wonder how this can happen.
ReplyDeleteLol...so true :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder some time too...
I have the same thing happen, but not quite that much difference.

Funny! Happens to me all of the time, but usually only an inch or two at the most. Something definitely ate your thread! lol
ReplyDeleteHappens to me too but not usually quite so much. I wonder what happens.
ReplyDeleteYep , me too . x
ReplyDeleteyou are right!!
ReplyDeleteall the time!
ReplyDeleteOr you have a thread eating 'something' in the house....... Lol
ReplyDeleteOne of the great mystery's of stitching:)
ReplyDeleteI think that has happened to all of us! Very weird!
ReplyDeleteHappens here too and the funny thing is the stitching never looks off. There should be a bunch of uneven stitches somewhere or a big loop hanging out on the back but there never is.
ReplyDeleteLol! Yep...happens here too!
ReplyDeleteOh YEAH. Been there!
ReplyDeleteWow! I see more comments, it happens to that many people?! I don't think it happens to me.. I will watch closer! LOL
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the way you stitch, do you make one single move? Like, you insert the needle to the back and to the front in one move? I make 2, I stitch with a q-snap and I like my fabric tight, I insert my needle to the back, pull the whole thread, then insert the needle to the front and pull the thread.
I'm curious, if we stitch the same way. I really don't see that thread difference happening to me!
You're not alone! Although I don't have THAT much creep XD
