As you can see I've replaced my vase with this great jar I found in a Junk/Antique store! I just love it! The miniature roses were a nice little gift from Christin's Mom. They came up here to take me out to lunch this past Saturday ... so nice!

I'm off this Friday and I'm hopping in my cute little Red Rio I'm going to stop in and see Kathy for a few hours before I head on down to visit Ann, my favorite dealer, ahem I mean needlework store owner. I'm looking forward to sitting in on Friday stitching at the shop and seeing some friends!

ReplyDeleteThere is a shop in Summerville, but I don't remember the name. They might have an "ad" in the back of Just Cross Stitch. I used to live in Goose Creek, which is near Charleston too. It is a beautiful area and I hope you have a great time!

ReplyDeleteKeep safe on all your travels. Weather up and down the East coast has been crazy the past few weeks.
ReplyDeleteTorrential rains have caused flash flooding in some locations. The high temps with the high humidity leads to heat stroke. This alternates with the brief sunny interval and again, those high temps. For the most part all we want to do is enjoy a/c indoors.

It will be a wonderful time to catch up with your old friend and relive old memories... Hope that hug from her helps--I've been thinking a lot about you and wondering how you are doing after the loss of your mom... Sending a virtual hug your way...
