Photo Hunt #68 "Creative"

Alrighty ... time for another PhotoHunters update!

When I think of creativity my first thoughts are of crafting and such activities. It takes a lot of creativity to turn pieces of fabric, or other items into something beautiful. My first thought is of my Mum's quilts. This is called a shadow quilt while it was in process back in 2002. Its now finished and I covet it every time I visit my Mum.

Hi Dani,

Your Mom's quilt is gorgeous!! What beautiful colours. No wonder you love it so. I guess it's too big to hide in your purse though.

I love the sweet cottage that you stitched for Von's RR. Very much an olde English cottage. Thatched roof and all.

Your stitching weekend at Kathy's looked like such fun. Especially when you were right on the lake like that. I wouldn't get much stitching done. I'd be too enthralled with the view. Your cube finishes will look great set out at Christmas.

Glad things worked out for you and your friends for the Phantom. I've seen it three times myself, and it's a favourite. I'm a musical junkie, and love seeing them done live. The first time that we saw the Phantom we had seats right underneath the chandelier, and it's plunge at the end of the first act.
Eeek!

Hope things are simmering down at work now that the first week is over.

Happy stitching. Cheers! Judy

I adore quilts! I tried taking a course on quilting a number of years ago but couldn't get past all the cutting and piecing. So I admire anyone who can make such beautiful ones as your Mom.
