This Week's Stitchy Porgress & Photo Hunt

Once again I think I've spent more time on my laptop than I have stitching.  I've spent a lot of time today visiting blogs, and getting caught up.  You see its a personal policy of mine that every comment I receive stays in my inbox until I've had a chance to visit you back.  I've been doing a lot of that today between putting in stitches.

I did start and finish yet another snowflake today... and I did the finishing too!  I'm getting quite a little collection of these. I changed up the beading on the edge of this one.

Snowflake Cross Stitch Gold
Stitched on 28ct Ivory Jubilee
Stitched with DMC floss

When I haven't been working on those adorable snowflakes I've either been working on my two main WIPs:

Art Deco Spirits - Water panel, seas and seas of white again!

The Accolade - I'm almost at the top right hand corner on page 1!

Here's this week's PhotoHunt, and it was a free week so we could pick any photo we wanted to!

I took this picture back in December when we were having some freezing rain, we were out and about and Todd had to get some gas for the truck.  The icicles dripping off of this car wash sign caught my eye.

You're making some good progress!

I love your snowflake ornies :) When you're making the beaded hanger, do you incorporate it in with the wipstitching, or make it seperately and attach it?

The more I see of your work on the Art Deco Spirits, the more I admire your focus as you work on your various BAPs. How do you plan to display Spirits when it is finally complete?

Kudos on your WIP... I don't think (well...know) I would have the patience to stitch such large designs!

Cute little snowflake!

Sweet little snowflake! Keep making them and you'll have your tree covered come Christmas!

Great job on your BAP's, Riona is right, your focus is admirable. You manage to reach most of your stitching goals every month!

I like your policy on blog comments, it's a great idea.

Great start on the new Spirit, and the Accolade must a labour of love, so complex and huge - you have all my admiration!

Great progress Dani! Remind me again who the designer is on Accolade.
I'm really loving these little snowflake ornies too.

Accolade is looking terrific! I like your comment policy; it must keep you very busy because you have a large following. That is what is keeping me from blogging, because I already spend enough time on the computer and don't need any reason to add more.... so my comments to you can be considered a freebie!

The snowflake is so sweet with that beaded hanger. That's a nice way to do the finishing.

Good progress on your other pieces.

That Car Wash photo is a riot!

Love the sign!
I love the question about how you are going to display Accolade when done.
They have obviously never seen your bin of finishes ROFL>
