I'm going to update you on what I've done, been doing, stitching over the last month over a few blog entries. First I'm going to start with stitching, my needle has certainly been busy! I'll update you with all of my WIPs on WIP Wednesday, there has been a flurry of finishing, and a few little day trips that I've taken a few photos. So, keep an eye out for blog entries every couple of days!

Since the end of May all of my stitching attention when to one piece, Cirque des Carreaux. Christin suggested that was the project I should work on during a weekend away, and I just never put it down. I was on page 2 when I picked it up, I found I was easily stitching a page in under a week, there's six pages in this design.
This is the third piece I've stitched in the "Cirque" series. There is just one design left for me to stitch "Cirque des Triangles" (triangles). I'm planning on starting that one in February during next year's Dominican Experience trip. I haven't decided on colour yet, I'll keep the fabric the same as I have with all the other pieces. Right now I'm thinking either a nice purple or turquoise, something vibrant.
In May I decided for my monthly ornament to start stitching up the Lizzie Kate Jingles series. Fun, colourful, and quick are a great way to describe them!

I love the fan view of the Cirques.
Wow Dani, your "Cirque des Carreaux is amazing...as are all of your "Cirques." I love Ink Circles and have had my eye on the Cirque series for a long time. in fact I am stitching my first Ink Circles now, "Bee's Knees" and I am just loving it...
Your Lizzie Kates are adorable, and as always your stitching inspires me :)
Thanks for sharing your progress, it's one blog that keeps me going...

Lovely stitching! The colors in the Cirque are very nice. Love those Lizzie Kate Jingles! I've started both of those and need to finish them.
Beautiful stitching!! All the pieces look lovely! The Cirque is looking Gorgeous and wonderful :)
Those Cirque pieces are stunning and look so good rolled up together! I hope you will be able to frame them all when they're finished.
What a collection of Cirques, such a lot of work in them, don't they look lovely all together.
Cute little L*K's.
Love the Cirque finish. You have done a wonderful job on all of them. The Lizzie kate's are really cute.
It's beautiful and when you see them all together like that they are very striking.
Congratulations to you on your finishes! Your Ink Circles piece is gorgeous. Both of your ornaments look great. The more I see these stitched up, the more I like them.

Happy Stitching!

Its so nice to see updates from you. I really enjoying reading about what you are up to. I know what you mean about spending the time stitching and not blogging.
My problem is I don't post unless I have something to SHOW and if I don't take the time to make it "presentable" for a picture, I just don't get to it...
Stay-cations are great! I have them FAR more often than I ever go anywhere. :)
Very lovely! Look forward to hearing from you more regularly.
Beautiful finishes!! Can't wait to see all four ink circles done!!! They are on my wish list.... One of these days I may get to them, in the meantime I'll just enjoy your finishes and progress!
Cirque is lovely - they all are in fact. What a beautiful grouping they will be. The LKs are so cute. Congrats on the finishes!
Wow! You have been busy! It's a beautiful finish Dani. :)
You have done some wonderful stitching!
Each of your Cirque finishes is lovely, Dani--I especially like the thread that you've used on the latest! And isn't it nice to have the "quick fix" that those little LK finishes give us? They really are fun!
Hope your three weeks off later this month proves to be both relaxing and productive :)
Love all of those Cirques. Great job!
And hey, I disappeared for more than three months, so don't feel too bad over a temporary break ;)
I love the Cirque designs, Dani! How wonderful to one day have the entire series stitched! :D
