Happy Dance and SBQ

Yay!!! I've finally finished the dreaded Mini Mystery J! You know the one I've been whining about and not enjoying?

So without further ado here's Chatelaine's Mini Mystery J

Next on my list of things to stitch is the last ornament in my JCS 2004 ornament RR, then I'll go back to the stocking I've barely started. Boy am I ever finding it hard to find stitching time lately!

Now for the Stitching Blogger's Question of the week :

Q : What is the most challenging specialty stitch you have ever stitched?

A : Hmmm I think any new stitch the first time you attempt it, it is hard. With practice I think any stitch becomes easier. I can't really think of any stitch I complain about. I hear bullion knots are hard but I haven't had the joy of trying them yet!

Oh Dani! I think it's beautiful! I know you did not like working on it, but I think it's just gorgeous.

Well I must admit I like it a whole lot more now that it is done. While it doesn't have the vibrancy of the colours she usually uses, it does work. Congratulations on finishing it!

Wasn't fussy on it when you were working on it... but I must admit I too like the finished product. It really is gorgeous. Very autumnal, so to speak. Not the usual jewel tones she uses. Congratulations :)

I'm sorry you dreaded it, but it's gorgeous! I'll be picking up the kits for these when they are released next year or whenever.

And I know what you mean about finding time to stitch. That seems to be happening to a lot of us this past week or so!

It is really lovely! But I know sometimes you just don't enjoy stitching something and it becomes a bit of a chore. This one is really nice, though! I am terrible at bullions--I need to stitch one (sort of star shape) for an Indigo Rose pin cushion, and I can't make myself do it!! It is the last stitch before finishing it, too! UGH.

Yep, bullion knots are hard - you have to wrap threads around your needle, pull the needle partially away from them, hold them down, turn your needle around, re-enter into another part of the fabric... and PRAY - LOL!!!!

Your HD is gorgeous!!!
