Fob-o-Rama

Its been a slow couple of stitching days. Between three days of family dinners (oh weigh in on Tuesday may be scary!) and not quite being in a stitching mood not much has gotten done.

I did do the finishing on the fob I stitched a few days ago. I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Then today I decided to stitch another one! I think its due to working on such a huge project like Paradigm for so many hours at a time that I feel the need to break it up with smaller pieces. I'll do the finishing on this one tomorrow.

Congratulations on your new finishes, stitched and finished ones. I'm exactly the same when I stitch on one of my large WIPs. I always need to stitch something tiny in between just to get the feeling of finishing something.

Congrats on your fob finish, great colour.

I agree about working on smaller things during a big WIP too.

Good job on those fobs Dani. Glad you enjoyed your Christmas. Keep plugging at PL. It finishes up so beautifully.

Both fobs are beautiful! I agree...big projects always seem to make me want to do some little things! Although, now I've been stitching little things for so long, I have the desire to get a really big project out soon...hmmmm...

The fob is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Celtic hearts finished.

I like both of your fobs, but that Celtic heart design is really lovely!

I too tend to do "littles" in the middle of bigger projects...otherwise I get bored and abandon my stitching altogether.

Great fobs! I like the satisfaction of a quick finish while stitching a large design too.

Nice little finishes, Dani! Big projects are very satisfying, but the little ones are great motivators. :D

And your Celtic Hearts is going to make another pretty fob. I love fobs...only have one, but I'm going to make me a bunch (one day)!

Nice work on the fobs. I love the Celtic Christmas ornie that you did in the previous post. I'm going backwards on that whole weigh in thing myself. I cannot wait to get all of the treats and goodies out of my house.

I understand the need to have a finish here and there...regardless of how small. I just gotta have breaks here and there while working on big projects. And you inspired me so that I ordered on of the LongDog samplers (I believe that was the name). I haven't done a cross stitch piece in ages but you just sort of brought the project to life for me. I'm going to use a similar thread...I just love the idea of a little more color. Or maybe I'll jazz it up even a bit more with a few different colors. Not sure yet. My mom will bring the pattern with her when she comes in February. Anyway...You inspire many, including me!

Your PL is so lovely but I know just how you feel - Im a sucker for the BAPs and then I feel bogged down so I can really relate.

The little ones are so pretty though.
