Paradigming Away

My holidays are progressing nicely, just as I had planned. Lots of stitching time! Yesterday I quickly realized that I wasn't going to get anywhere on Todd's stocking in time for Christmas, so I've now decided to focus on Paradigm Lost, actually I'm kinda addicted to it. I started page 4 on Friday and I've been plugging away on it since. I've added the motif below the letter b, the letters g and s, two snowflakes, a butterfly, a small diamond, and the oak branch. The Oak branch actually spilled over into page 7 (I actually quite like this motif), the motif I'm working on now is a good size and actually 3/4 of it is also on page 7 so you can almost say I'm done page 4. I like to complete motifs before moving onto the next page.

I don't have much planned for my first week day of holidays. I will of course work on Paradigm Lost some more. Also there's the last Taekwon-Do class for 2008 so I'll go to that, we don't resume classes until January 5th. Oh, and there's catching up on blogs! Other than that I have no concrete plans, and that's pretty much how my entire Christmas holiday is laid out.

Great progress and beautiful stitching. Excuse my ignorance but how many colors are involved. I can't tell from the blow-ups if it all one color or several shades of blues and purples.

No plans would be lovely...nothing but stitching, that would be lovely too! Your PL is looking fabulous, can't wait to see it in person on the 31st!

Beautiful! Like you, I never leave a motif unfinished even if I have to pull out another page to do it. :-)

Sounds like great plans...chilling and stitching:) You are moving so quickly on PL and I'm really enjoying seeing your progress. I actually miss stitching on A Quaker Christmas since I completed it, so I know what you mean about enjoying it. It's a relaxing piece:)
Good job Dani! Oh, and you may not realize how you influence people, but you do! One of my New Year Resolutions (I haven't made any in years) is to get back on my treadmill and eat better. Thanks for inspiring:)

Wow, your fingers are flying on PL! I was planning on digging out my Cirque over the holidays. I'll have more time to stitch once the boys have all left.
Sorry to hear you've been feeling so down about Christmas. It's only since this past weekend after finishing work that I started to get in the mood.
I hope you and Todd have a relaxing and enjoyable Christmas.
