Most years when I stitch my ornaments for the year, I don't have a plan. I just go through my magazines, patterns, and freebies and stitch whatever catches my fancy. I don't have anyone in mind at first but often my ornaments find the right home as Christmas presents. This year I have hatched a master plan for the ladies in the office, because every year I give them each a stitched Christmas ornament. I have decided that this year they're each going to get their first initial, stitched using the alphabet from Rosewood Manor's Red threads using some sort of festive colour.
Here's my first one
Letter P - Red Threads

A beauty in red and a wonderful thought. Am sure the ladies will be glad.
What a great idea for your Christmas ornies. Love the first one.
Lucky ladies - very pretty. Best of Luck with the goals Dani. :0)
That's a good idea...I love my fob!
They will love their initials!
Soooo pretty.
That is a lovely idea for the ornaments. Well done on your April goals
That sounds like a really good idea. The ladies will like having their initial on the ornament.
Great idea! And I know they have to always love your ornaments.
Super idea, how lovely for them all, it's wonderful.
That is an excellent idea!! and I love your "P"!!
Fantastic idea - lovely ornament, Dani
That is cute, it will make a great ornament. Congratulations on finishing Paradigm Lost, it looks amazing.
Good plan Dani!
A lovely idea Dani - the red 'P' is wonderful. I have 6 ornaments to stitch for the children - maybe I should steal your idea ;o)
Hi Dani,
Your plan for stitching Christmas
ornaments for the ladies that you
work with sounds like a great idea
to me. And this first square did
turn out brilliantly. Love the
red. I think these will be a big
hit when they are received.
Imagine my surprise to find Mr
Hungry hanging out on your blog.
Cheeky devil!! I might have to
get one of his cousins to sit on
the refrigerator door here as
well. A little furry orange
reminder to be good.
Congratulations on finishing
Paradigm Lost!! It looks
fabulous, even with the cat
sitting on it!! But even
better without. What a wonderful
accomplishment.
Sounds like the weekend at
Beatrice's was a fantastic one.
I would have loved to have had
the opportunity to hear her sing
as well. Think she'd give us a
song at Kathy's gathering this
year??? It's good to hear that
Kathy made it home to Ontario
again, and that she was able to
join you for stitching and
visiting on the Sunday. Love
that pretty little fob that you
secretly stitched for Beatrice,
by the way.
My first month with Weight
Watchers has seen me loose a
total of 7.4 pounds!!! I'm
thrilled and delighted. Still
a long way to go in my journey
but it's a good start.
It's been a nice weekend weather
wise. Especially today. Hope
that's the trend for the rest of
the good weather seasons.
Cheers!
That's a great idea, Dani! I love the color you picked also.
Hi Dani,
thank you for your comment on my blog. I stitched that hang gliding picture while we were still together. I broke off last year just before Easter. I just remembered the picture and that I still have to show it on my blog. There will be more older stuff to come, but the designs are getting bigger ;-)
Have a great week
Billie
It looks lovely what a great idea to stitch their initials
Great idea! And I love your "goals" list too.
Great idea to stitch the initials.
I know first hand how beautiful they are.
Congrats on your big finish of PL. I know what a labor of love it has been.
Glad to hear that Secret project is finally finished. Sounds like it gave you on end of trouble.
Lovely stitching on the ornament, you've got a great idea about them.
I think that is a great Master Plan! And it has started out beautifully. I love that deep rich red color! That pattern for the alphabet is a great one for Christmas. I can't wait to see what letters and colors you come up with through your Christmas Ornament project...you are going to share aren't you?
What a great idea. The design is lovely as well...so is your stitching.
