Knowledge & Needles Annual Open House 2010

This past Friday morning, Christin and I hit the road our first stop was Kingston for a visit with her parents over night.  Then Saturday morning it was back into the car to Knowledge and Needles in Brighton for Ann's annual open house, I think this was my 9th year in attendance.  This year, Ann had her highest numbers ever, 45 stitchers came by throughout the day.  We stitched, we ate, we shopped it was heaven!

I got to see some of my great friends some I only see a few times a year!

Here are some of my shots from the day!
Paddie was so hoping that Heather would drop some of her cupcake!

My heart stopped beating looking at the gallery....

Loved ALL of them. BTW, the wonderful calling red thing - is it red linen or red embroidery... Me? Stumped.

What a day. I have seen pictures of the event on Kathy's and Beatrice's blogs as well and they are all worth looking at. I never get tired of seeing pictures from stitching get-togethers.

How nice that everyone had a wonderful time and the gallery is absolutely awesome. Funny to be able to pick out some of the pieces that some of the fellow bloggers worked on. Not to mention ones hanging on the display which I have stitched myself.
Be always in stitches.

What a wonderful retreat, you must have had such fun, and everyone's work is marvellous - though I was a teensy bit creeped out by the decapitated Mirabilia in the 2nd photo ;D
Do you by any chance know who the designer is of that sort of art deco black cat with the fan?

Attending one of Ann's retreats is officially on my bucket-list! :P It always looks like so much fun ... although I'd be hard pushed to do any stitching, I think I'd be too busy playing with the dogs! LOL
