Saturday saw me starting my 12th project for 2013, I picked something just a little bigger than an ornament since it was the weekend. I was out and a about a bit so I didn't get as much done on it if I had stayed home all day, but that's okay. I can't always be a stitching hermit!
This chart was a gift to me quite a few years ago, finally I've gotten around to start it, I'm really enjoying the colours in this so far!
Last year I got out of the habit of sharing my stitching goals with you each month. Actually I got out of the habit of setting them ... feel free to join me this year! I find it really helps me to focus my stitching each month!
So here we go for 2013...
January Stitching Goals
- Crazy Challenge, start 15 new projects in 15 days!
- Lizzie*Kate travelling pattern Cross Stitcher in Residence
- Stitch one ornament
- \Stitch one row on my current page on The Accolade
- Finish A is For Angel on Kathy's Christmas Sampler

Love the chart so colourful and good start. I like the goals, I started great last year and then dwindled off, I may give it a go again this year as your right, it does focus you more.
I have always loved that pattern and it's in my stash as well. I've always enjoyed seeing what your goals are and if you reached them.
Sweet pattern..happy stitching deary x
That's a lovely pattern. Love those colors
I never stopped setting monthly goals but I have started being far more realistic about them in the past year. It looks like setting fewer and more manageable goals is a trend. Your current list looks considerably shorter than some of the ones I remember from the past.
Love this one Dani. How cute.
Cute start
Your goals for January look great
Lovely new start. Good luck with your goals.
I admire stitchers who can set and achieve goals Dani, I'm such a butterfly when it comes to stitching and knitting.
Great pattern, full of colours!
Good luck with your goals.. our going fast!!!
Oh! I have this in my stash. I'm gonna have to watch this one closely!
I also have this one in my stash, Dani! Will enjoy seeing how your finish turns out--hopefully, it will inspire me to begin mine :)
Your progress looks great to me! Goals are a great idea but like you I fall out of the habit of setting/following them!
Love the pattern! And the colours are so bright and cheerful.
Another great start Dani. I love the bright colors in this one. Good luck with your goals. They look doable.

This is looking beautiful already, very pretty colours. Good luck with your Janaury goals and I've enjoyed looking at all your starts this month too.
I stitched that one a few years ago and loved it. The colors are so much fun and you made a great start.
It is always nice having something to work towards. I set myself a goal every stitching session.
