Well I finished the last present I'll be making for Christmas this year. Todd's Mom asked for a piece of jewelry made by me for her gift this year. Back in October I managed to purchase a back issue of Wirework magazine with the directions to make the Empressa Chain Bracelet. I decided to make this for Todd's Mum. The rings are gold filled (not plated) and I accidentally used a larger gage ring (fatter) than recommended so its quite a substantial piece. And it caused lots of muttering and cursing on my behalf because it was a challenge to thread some of the rings in.
Sooo besides putting my tree up and wrapping the gifts I am now ready for Christmas!
Of course I have one more day of work left first (I know its just wrong).

Oh my gosh, Dani, it's GORGEOUS! I can't believe you made that; it does not look handmade in the least. Congratulations on such a beautiful finish; his mom is sure to LOVE it!
Dani, that bracelet is pure heaven!! You can surely give it to your MIL with the satisfaction that it's equal or superior to anything you could have bought her!! WOW!! She'll treasure it for sure :)
That looks fantastic, Dani! I bow to your talents - I wish I could do something like that. I am sure it will be loved and appreciated. (If not, you can give it to me!)
