June Goals and Photo Hunt

Its the end of one month, and tomorrow is the beginning of another. This means its time to review what I had hoped to get done in May and what I hope to accomplish in June (gosh is it June already???? Where has the year gone?).

May Goal Review
Stitch Four Ornaments - Yes, I'm all caught up!
Work On Blackstone Fantasy Garden - Yes, and loving it!
Start & Finish Flip Flops - Yes, but still have to do finishing
Scissor Fob - Decided not to do this.

June Goals
Finish Blackstone Fantasy Garden
Stitch Two Ornaments
Work on Todd's Stocking
Work on Art Deco Spirits (when Todd's home)

How about a Photo Hunt? Its been ages since I've done one of these! Photo Hunt #148 "Bridge"

This is the bridge leading to St. Simon's Island, Georgia. I just love the lines and symmetry of this bridge.

I've had a nice quiet day of stitching, movie watching, and I went for a walk on my treadmill (since I ran yesterday). Unfortunately tomorrow is Monday, back to work and back to the real world (and dealing with my car which as decided that the check engine light needs to be on ... again!)

Thanks for leaving me a comment. Beautiful photography! I've been reading your recent blogs; I'm impressed with all of your exercise; hope you can get everything stabilized. Never heard of this, though are the migraines related to exercise, too? Interestingly enough, I used to work out at a gym and do their aerobics (when everyone thought high impact was the way to go). After we did crunches on the floor, I'd get this blasted headache that lasted for a day or two. Didn't go the dr., but the trainer had run into this before; she said it was exercise induced and gave me some literature on it. I started waiting until my heart rate came back down some more and then got on the floor; never had problems after that. Weird, huh? Who knew exercise could cause your symptoms? I'm sorry you've been dealing with these health issues; but it's good to know that you have a good plan and are able to continue to do what you want. Take care.

Impressive accomplishments for May and goals for June. I am not very good at staying on task when I plan to far in advance. But I am always amazed by what others can do. CJ ok;-)

I agree about June...

Great goals, and lovely pics of the bridge. It looks familiar, I wonder if I crossed it on my road trip from GA to Jacksonville?

Congrats on a very successful May! And yes...it IS hard to believe that it is already June. Sounds like a nice weekend. I am thankful I've never had a car with that "check engine" light. I've heard horror stories...that often it just comes on and there isn't anything at all wrong. But you have to go to the dealer to get the stupid thing turned off! What a pain!

Dani,
Just to clarify -- that's the
Sidney Lanier Bridge that crosses
from Brunswick, GA over to Jekyll
Island. It is near St. Simons,
however. It is indeed a beautiful
bridge!
Best Wishes....

Hi Dani, thank you for your comment on my blog. I've just been looking through some of your posts, I hope you are feeling back to your normal self and that this doesn't happen again, it sounds very scary. Blackstone looks beautiful. Hopefully the engine warning light will go off again!
