71:29

You may ask 71:29?  What's that??  Well that's the time I finished my 10K race last night!  I finished in the time frame I had expected 70-75 minutes.  I've written a fantastic blog post all about it on my other blog, with more pictures.

I went from this (August 2007)

To this, slim and a runner!!!!

It was an amazing day for me!

You look gorgeous! Fantastic for you. I keep saying I will never run, but so many people are running and seemingly enjoying it. I will just have to lose some weight and get to running!

Way to go Dani!! That's an amazing accomplishment. The race went right by our church this year. I was there for a Chinese banquet on Saturday and watched but didn't see you. I also watched the marathon go by on Sunday. How did Amy make out?

Congratulations times a million Dani!!! I ran the Ottawa 5k last year and it was the most intimidating thing I've ever done. It was my first race ever as well, and after I finished, I was hooked! Now I run every race I can easily get myself to. 10k is a challenge, and your time is awesome! You look like you had a GREAT time, I can't wait to hear about your next one :-)

On a side note, if you like to read I HIGHLY reccommend Born to Run by Christopher McDougall...it's easily one of the best books I've read.
