I arrived home very late last night (or very early this morning depending on how you look at it) from the Holstein Rodeo. I did get a little stitching in this weekend, during our drive there I worked on one of my quilt squares. I'm starting the process of going through my pictures so I hope to have full report with photos in a few days. Christin and I are off to a couple of shows at Bluesfest this week so this week is busy but they're more photo opportunities for me!
In the meantime, here's two more PhotoHunts, working towards getting me all caught up for this year.
March 12, 2011's theme was Machine(s)
I took this picture at the 2009 Holstien Rodeo. This machine/contrapton is a little steam engine and these folks were using it cook yummy corn on the cob!
June 18th, 2011 theme was Informative
Signs can be very informative things. This is at the Mexican border near Yuma, Arizona this past March. Notice how it says its illegal to bring guns into Mexico? Funny at this border crossing you can just walk right into Mexico. There's absolutely no one to stop you from bringing a gun in!

Hi Dani! Haven't been around in a while. You look great! I look forward to watching your blog again and stitching.
Great photos Dani.
Hi Dani, good to see and read you're enjoying life to the full..
Erna xx
That's quite the corn-cooking machine! Funny about the gun sign, but no one there to really enforce the law.
I wonder what people do if they have a gun? Oh no, the sign says I can't bring my gun in! I guess I'll just leave it right here....
Great photos!
That's a cool steam engine!
What a neat way to grill corn. Yummy!! And I have to agree with you, about signs being informative. Sad about the gun thing though. Hope you're having a great week Dani!!
