Another Dominican Republic shot from this past February. This year our Dominican Experience organizers managed to get us a walk through of one of the first Fair Trade sugar refineries in the DR this one is located in Consuelo. The worker is feeding the fires for the steam generators, what HOT work!

I can't imagine -- Haiti = hot climate. Feeding the furnace = hot work. Yikes --- that is one hot too many.
