We went into one of our favourite Antique/Flea Market shops in Perth and came across Eddie this lovely shop cat! He was a new addition since we had last been in there back in the fall. He had to check out this box we wanted a closer look at. After a chat with the shop owner we found out they had rescued him. Makes me love that shop even more!
One of our last stops was at the Wool/Feed shop in Carleton Place. Of course the feed shop (they also carry great cowboy boots which is what we stopped in to look at) had a shop cat... they of course would need one! I'm sure this little kitty earns his/her keep. I got a bit of a squeak when I didn't stop and give him/her a little love.
I just love going into a shop to find they've personalized it with a resident cat!

Shop cats are fabulous!!
The local brewery has a couple of cats, who always greet you when you approach the bar. Beautiful Creatures.
Oh I love shop cats too Dani. It just makes me kinda sad that they are left alone at night.

I adore shop cats...the hubby is allergic, so that's about the only time I get to hang out with sweet kitty cats!
Shop cats are the best in general and those two are very fine specimens.

I love when shops have a cat. There is an antique store in Daytona that has one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen.

I love the idea of a shop cat. When we were in NYC we went into a record store (and yes, they did have vinyl) in Greenwich Village which had one. So sweet!
