SBQ : February 26th

Yay! Snow Day! I tried to go to work this morning, but as soon as my car got out of the garage I started spinning my tires, going sideways and almost got stuck in the snow. So back into the garage my car went, made my phone calls to work , and got back into my jammies! I'm getting caught up on the world that is Blogging, then I'm going to model stitch my heart out to season 1 of House. I should finish Model #3 minus the missing thread today.

To entertain you with something stitchy, here's last week's SBQ :

Q: What is your cross stitch weakness? (i.e., What do you have to havewhen you see it, even if you are supposed to be on the Wagon?)

A : I have no definate to die for weakness when it comes to stash. Sometimes I just want something so badly I have to have it and I break down to get it! I have to say this probably applies mostly to charts. Charts can go out of print right??? At least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
Photo (SLR) : Abandoned farm house. I just love how the light shines through the front door.

A good snow for you sounds like fun. In your jammies stitching. I am so tired of snow, I want spring.

I would love to have a snow day.
Also a bit behind in blogging. I am going to upload some pics now and let you all see I also have been stitching lately.

Lucky you...I have a 10 try rule, if I try 10 times to get out of the drive or end of the road 10 times, then I stay home. I got on the highway during my 7th try.
Enjoy your stitching day and HOUSE (one of my faves).

Well WOOT! and Dang-it (lol!) that you couldn't get to work! You stitch away and watch House MD to your hearts content AND in your jammies no less...I'm SO jealous!

Congrats on your stitching day! I wish I could have an excuse to stay home. I've had a tough time getting out of bed this week...

I think I should have done the same. My 40 min drive took me an hour and 15 min and it was white knuckles all the way!

This sounds like the perfect day to me!!! And you are a girl after my own heart when you go back inside and put your pjs back on! That is the way to live. I wish we had snow days but no snow here. We did have a little snow shower and I get all excited about that as I miss the snow back home. I put it on my home and garden blog. I hope you had a fun day in and got some stitching done. I finished my next part of the medallion quilt and now I can get back to some stitching today.

Hugs ~
Heidi

Hope you enjoyed your snow day. I know a native Canadian (from Winnipeg) down here in Texas who says that nothing closes in Canada for snow...ever.

When you retire you won't get snow days anymore.
