I know, I know, I promised all of you a picture of my new start for yesterday and well I never blogged. I was tired, I had driven home in a bad snow storm, cranky and headachy. Thus no blog entry.
So as promised, here it is my new start and a gift for a friend of mine : Macdonald Maple leaf by Lynne Nicoletti. I'm stitching it on 28ct white evenweave using DMC, I am quite enjoying it so far.

That is going to be a very cool project.
Nice colors! Looking forward to seeing more of it :D
Ooo cool. I can't wait to see this develop. I seem to recollect that I've seen and liked this pattern. Now I get to see it "grow up." :)
What an intriguing design.
nice start - can't wait to see more progress pics. I love her designs.....
What a lovely new start ;o)
lovely!!
Congratulations on a new start. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it, but it already looks very promising.
Great start, Dani! I went and looked up the design because I was unfamiliar with it, and it is beautiful. It will be fun to watch this one grow.
Looks great! I love the bright red color!
Nice new start Dani. I love the colours.
Oooh, pretty colors!!
Hey, I'd be more than a little tired and cranky if I had to drive in a snow storm.
Stay safe and warm:)
Great start
I love that design !! Hope today goes better.
Great start - looking forward to watching it develop. :0)
This looks like a great start!
Great stitchy start!
I was at Ann's in that bad weather...left a bit earlier to get home safe. Today wasn't much better!
Nice start!
You are going to love stitching that piece ! It's one of the only designs I've ever wanted to stitch more than once, and that's the one that got me hooked on her "hidden image" designs. I finally got mine framed a few months ago, and it is just gorgeous. Can't wait to see yours "evolve" too :D
nice colors Dani!.
Your project is looking good, great start. I'm not familiar with that design, think I need to go look it up. :)
Sue
Oops, went back to copy and past the name to look it up, and realized you had it linked in your entry. It is going to be beautiful.

Wow, look at those colors! I can't wait to see this progress.
This looks like a very interesting piece to stitch. Can't wait to see how it developes.
great start!
A great start hun, love the colours in it.
Hugs xxxxx
A lovely new start, look forward to seeing the finish.
A very good start.
Dani - Your email is failing and bouncing back - could you email me - edgarmatt at g mail dot com - when you get a chance.
thanks,
edgar
What a pretty new start! I can't wait to see more!
Hi Dani,
Hmmm...this looks interesting.
That's a beautiful shade of red.
Wonder what all that swirl of
colour is becoming?
I'm so glad to hear that you
have made such great progress
with the treatments for your
foot injury and may not require
any further injections. I'm
keeping my fingers crossed for
you.
I wonder which TW design you'll
be stitching for your friends
baby. Those designs scare me
silly, all those colour changes
and so on, but I love watching
you stitch them. You make them
look so easy.
Sounds like you had another
wonderful stitcher's gathering
at Ann's back on January 17th.
Thankfully the weather didn't
interfere too much with the
gathering. You must be pretty
use to driving in such wintery
weather though.
And you've got a week in FLorida
to look forward to in March. So
when the snow flies and the
temperature plunges (again) back
down to -56 or whatever you can
just count down the days left
until you fly down there. Um...
any room in your luggage for a
stowaway???
Cheers!
This is not a design i know so went to peek at what the finish would be like and its going to be a real wow one I can tell. A good start.
