The Before Photos!

As of 3PM today I'm officially on vacation until August 15th!  I am very ready to be off work, and I've never ever taken 3 weeks off so what a treat its going to be!  As you saw from my previous post I kinda started things off a little early yesterday with a wonderful evening/afternoon with my friend Tracey on her new boat!  I do have some adventures planned so there will be no lack of blog entries and photos!

I am also really looking forward to some well earned/deserved stitching time over the next few weeks, which I know will go by far too quickly.

Here's where Enchantment of Winter stands as of right now (I've not touched it yet today)

Here's where The Accolade is at as well (not touched today either)

So as soon as I'm done here online I'll be picking up needle and thread and we'll see how much I get done during the next three weeks, between my summer adventures!

How about a quick PhotoHunt?  On July 2nd the theme was "Busy"

I took this photo back in February of this year when over 15 of us went to have ice cream at this shop in Consuelo, Dominican Republic.  They went from almost dead to very busy!

Everybody loves ice cream!!!

Can't wait to see how much you get done on your projects. I'm betting there will be a BIG difference.

3 weeks off?! Wow, talk about heaven. Enjoy it! I hope you have lots of fun and get some stitching done.

Isn't there something about ice cream in that intense heat? Love it! The ice cream shop is my fave when I visit fam in Central America.

Your wips are gorgeous. I hope you get plenty of time to stitch on your three weeks off between adventures. Who doesn't love ice cream.

Oh, Enchantment is so pretty Dani! I look forward to seeing more progress on both it and Accolade.
Enjoy your holiday!! We are home as of last night but I now have Jeff & girls arriving to stay until we leave for Windsor. I won't be home again until after the long weekend by which time you'll be away. So our stitching time in the gazebo will have to wait until a weekend after you return.
