Polar Friends - Night
Stitcher's Habit
Stitched on Silkweaver 32ct Ocean Fantasy
I just realized I forgot to share my stitching goals for the month of January with you! I've been doing this for a few years now and I encourage you to join me. These are your stitching goals, what you'd think you'd like to accomplish during the month. The beauty is these are no-pressure goals. If you don't make them, that's okay, if you completely change your plans mid-month that's okay too. I found that since I started setting these goals I was a little more focused in my stitching and get far more done. Also I'm not upset when I achieve a goal (s), it just gives me a little focus.
January Goals
All 15 starts of the Crazy Challenge
Stitch one ornament
Work on Enchantment of Winter
Work on The Accolade
Work on Winter Mandala
So at the beginning of February, I'll post a blog entry, giving you a re-cap of January and how I did and what I plan to get done that month.
This blog seems to be all stitching lately, I should share an old PhotoHunt with you for a little fun! On March 6, 2010 the theme was "Foreign"
This past March while visiting Kathy in Arizona, we crossed the border into a foreign country, Mexico... for a little shopping!

Fond memories Dani!
I'm so glad you had a start that didn't involve frogging and I love the bright colours and that fabric is just lovely.
I've never set out a list of goals for the month and I'm sorely tempted only as I seem to have a million things (or so it seems) on the go, watch for my next post ! lol
Love your photo hunt shot, I must say I do enjoy seeing these on your blog.
I am another who has monthly goals [and annual goals, as well]. Last year I was somewhat optimistic, posting goals concerning at least seven projects a month ... as you might expect , I seldom met all of them. So this year my monthly goals will be more realistic. For January, I have just three: 1] for my Crazy Class Project Challenge, resume work on The Holly & Hearts Sampler from Stitcher's Hideaway 2008; 2] leftover from 2011 Crazy Challenge, continue work on Teresa Wentzler's Tracery Dragons; and 3] from my list of 2010-11 WIPs, continue work on Workbasket's Quaker Sampler. I don't want to jinx myself this early in the month but I am progressing rather nicely on goals 1 and 3. I may even see two finishes by month's end.
That's a cute stitch Dani! Good luck on your goals for the month. I haven't even got in one new start yet!
Great new start. Lovely colours. Glad to hear you didn't have any frogging with this one.
very sweet new start..have fun..

There seems to be a rash of counting frogs this year. I had a swarm on New Year's Day!
Great start! The colors are so fun. Good luck on your monthly goals!
Right now Polar Friends looks like a cute little Chinese guy.
Happy stitching!
Just found your blog. I like all your new starts, but I especially like this one. The colors are just so nice. I don't set monthly goals, but maybe I should give it a try. Since I just found your blog I read your most recent posts to see all your new starts and saw the grid that you. How do you grid? Hope your start today is without frogs!!!
Frog free stitching - yay!
Lovely start, happy that you have enjoyed so far :) And no frogs allowed, right!
He's so cute! Once again, another great choice of fabric. He really pops on it.
Hugs,
Veronica.
Lovely bold colours.
