Dear Blogger, I was bad...

Well ever since I saw THIS somewhere on someone's blog over a week ago I've been obsessing about it. Its Lizzie*Kate's Double Flip Its. If you've been a long time reader, or a good friend of mine you know that Lizzie*Kate isn't usually my taste. However I fell in love with the powerful words and how beautifully they're laid out. So I've enrolled to get these on automatic from Down Sunshine Lane (I've read good things about this ONS on the various blogs out there this is my first order with this shop), the floss pack, and fabric. This is the first time I've ever joined an automatic program and I'm hoping this is a good thing! Also I won't forget to order the latest one one month in the future then be scrounging around to find it! I'm hoping also to stitch these as they're released. But then I've put a lot of stuff on my stitching plate for 2008 so this might not happen, or something else will drop off. LOL we'll see! Lists are usually done in pencil for a reason... you can use and eraser!
I've not stitched much tonight so I'm not going to bore you with any progress pictures. I'm pretty tired today (and a little headachy), I always find I do okay on the first day back to work, but exhausted the next and that's what happened.
Tomorrow I have an appointment I've been looking forward to for awhile, I've got an appointment for my feet with a sports medicine doctor that my family doctor has referred me to. Fingers crossed, we'll find out why I have pain in my feet, start to get it resolved so I can go back to Taekwon-Do. I'm now in my 8th month since I stopped training and teaching at first with a torn ligament in my foot and chronic plantar fascists in both feet. My "newest" problem (which started developing in late September/October) is pain across the top of my feet, the right one in particular. One suspicion I have is stress fractures. We'll see as I had x-rays back in November in preparation for this consultation that I've been waiting for. I just want to know why I'm in pain when I'm on my feet during my normal working day, and what can be done for it!
I want to be TKDchick again!

This is a cute design. Best of luck with your appt, sounds painful!

Just realised your 'live traffic feed' has me coming from the right place for once. I'm at work on break at the mo' in Pontypridd. When I'm home it says I'm in Slough, England, but I'm actually in Cardiff, Wales :) (home of Michael Powell ;)

I've also ordered that LK on auto ship from Needlecraft Corner. So far I got the first 2 flip its, fabric and floss. Haven't started yet!
Hope you get some results at your appointment. Best of luck!

I autoship with Amy and she's WONDERFUL! I'm sure you'll love it :) I do!!!! And always can't wait for the e-mail saying that my autoship is awaiting payment do I need anything else? LOL! which can be a bad thing....

Is your pain across the top of your foot by your toes?? this can also be plantar fascitis...I have this too, but with shots it resolved pretty quickly....do you wear inserts? I've found that my inserts make me a new woman!

Ooh, I fell in love with those as well - I'm sure it's a great idea for your first automatic :)

Hope your appointment went well??

LOL! I ordered from there on Monday morning, the exact same thing, minus the fabric!!! Want to do a SAL? Maybe for the beginning of next year! I'd even let you stitch on it on New Year's Eve if you are so inclined to join us again!

I like this pattern a lot, but not sure I'd ever stitch it.

Sorry to hear about the problems with your feet. Sounds extremely painful. I've had sciatic nerve problems and it really puts a painful twist into any type of physical fitness.

Good luck with getting some answers on what is causing you pain. Hopefully before too long you'll be back to your TKD chick status!

Fingers crossed that you'll uncover the source of the pain and that it can be quickly resolved!

The L*K words look pretty awesome like that. Good luck with your stitching plans!

I keep eyeing up those flips. They'd be perfect for my nieces.

I'm not usually a fan of Lizzie*Kate designs, either, but this one is pretty nice. I hope you're able to keep up with it each month. Good luck at the doctor's office; I hope you're able to get the pain taken care of.

Thanks! (like I really need it, lol.) for showing that awesome LK. I am not a huge fan either, but this is great.
I will have to go check out that site.
Hope all goes well at the doctor and get that resolved in a quickly manner.

Hello Dani,

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I had a bad functioning keyboard so I couldn't reply earlier. I like your blog and this pattern is beautiful!

Greetings, Carolien

I sure hope you get your feet back to normal soon, it stinks knowing your feet will hurt everyday! I like the LK design, probably won't stitch it though. I've heard others talk about inserts, but haven't tried them. Good luck!

I hope the appointment goes well and the Dr. can give you some definite answers.

Lizzie Kate isn't my normal taste either, but I have to agree with you that the words and layout are very nice. I may have to look at those again and see about doing it in different colors.

That is a pretty design, I'm not much for LK but this could be an exception.

Good luck with your appointment!

DSL has been good to me, too. Good luck with your appointment! Hope you get some "good" answers.

I just saw that LK on Rebecca's blog and was admiring it! Good choice!
I hope the foot specialists are able to help with your pain. I've had plantar fascitis and it's pretty miserable. I also had pain across the top of my feet with it. It felt like they couldn't bend properly. Maybe it's connected.

Yup, another "not my usual style" sucked in by this new L*K. I didn't buy it yet, though.....hmmm. It does seem like all the cool kids are doing it! LOL

I hope your feet feel better soon. I get very paranoid about my feet, being a diabetic and all.
