First Ornament Exchange Received - On My End

Well all of my ornament/Christmas exchanges made their way into the mail today and they are whipping their way at a snail's pace (cause Canada Post is s-l-o-w) south of the border.  Two are individual exchanges set up with McKenna and Shannon through their blogs, the third is through a Facebook group I belong to.

Today I received the first of the exchanges heading my way.  This one is from Steph from my Facebook group, it came all the way from England!  Its just lovely, the fabric is sparklie and the chocolates... well they're long gone!

So hopefully in a week or so I'll have three reveals for you!  Finally!

Today I put a beaded ribbon edge on my last little pillow ornament.  So I need to do another assembly line of ornament finishing!  Probably this weekend!!!

JBW French Country Hearts 1 & 2 Finished

I've spent the last two nights working away on those little "pillows" I showed you on my last post.  I've been busy putting a beaded ribbon edge on them all.  Not really all that time consuming, but when you've got six of them to do, its gets a little repetitive!

So here's my efforts over the last two evenings...

Found Some Finishative!

Today I found my finishative!  Well I had to find it since I had three exchanges going out in the mail this upcoming week and only one of the three were finished, finished!  Of course I can't show you the three but I do have a few things I can show you!  Cause that would be just mean for me to tell you I've done some finishing and have nothing to show!

Besides my two ornaments I did the finishing on Lizzie Kate's "Good Things".  The background is the fabric its finished with on the back.  Its now hanging up on my wall next to my "Don't Bug Me I'm Stitching"!  Both are next to my stitching chair.

I have also turned a whole bunch of stitched ornaments, seven to be exact into little pillows.  During the week I'll put cord or beaded ribbon edges on them.  I still have more stitched ornaments to finish and they'll get done in the next few weeks.

OMG Madonna puts on a STELLAR show!  Near the end she sang "Like A Prayer" it was amazing and gave me chills!

Retro Photo Hunt - July 26, 2010 - Purple

Since I showed off all of my stitching last night, tonight you're just going to have to put up with an older PhotoHunt!

The theme on July 26, 2010 was Purple.  When I used to travel I would get Todd a cheesy shot glass from the town/area I was visiting.  After a few years, you know you have a lot of them and not a lot of space for them.  So I changed things up and started buying him ugly/cheesy/brightly coloured fishing lures.  Todd is an avid fisherman!  As you can see, this purple perch did its job nicely......

November WIPocalypse!!!

Oh my!  Oh my!  The world is coming to an end (or is it Aliens coming?) I'd better get stitching!!!

This month was productive, but not in terms of number of items stitched but got lots done on one major project.  I have two finishes this month that I can't share with you, they will be going in the mail soon!  So December will have at least 3 reveals for you.  I also have a lot of finishes that need to get done so those will be upcoming as well.

My one focus project this period was on the Accolade its kinda grabbed my attention lately.

I also gave Kathy's ABC Sampler a little love.
