Before the Weekend Began

I had meant to do this post Friday night, but I was just so happy and content working on Celestial Dragon that I didn't feel like opening up the laptop to blog, just stitch.

So here is where CD stood before I picked it up that evening.  I worked on it until very late on Friday, I'm hoping to pick it back up again today.  I spent Saturday and hopefully just this morning working on my ornament for the month of June.

This past week was another rough one for me, I was up yet another pound on Tuesday, my weigh in day.  I attribute it to eating out once a day Thursday-Sunday, and I only managed to get out for a walk once on those days because of the rain.  So far this past week I have stayed away from restaurants, and I've either done some running or gone to the gym every day (not done anything yet today).  I'm getting a little tired of this three pounds off/ three pounds on I've been playing it since March and its getting a little tiring.

My close friends will know I've not been myself for quite awhile.  I just haven't felt like being me, happy, easy going, and so on.  Finally on Friday I felt like myself!  For the first time in ages!!!  I hope this continues.  I prefer to be myself not this stranger who has been living in my body for more than a month now.

Celestial Dragon is looking amazing! Glad to hear you're feeling more yourself... it's hard to just live life when things are "off". Enjoy your Sunday :)

CD looks really gorgeous! I have that kind of feeling from time to time too - not feeling like myself but it goes away fast and I am glad that you are back to yourself again :0))

CD is beautiful! You really are making progress on it! I know exactly how you are feeling, for I have been having those feelings on & off (sometimes for a day or two, sometimes a little longer). For me, it seems to go along with my cycles and other times just my nagging feelings toward my weight. Take care of yourself - I pray that you continue to feel "normal" :)

Great progress on CD! I've been stitching a TW off & on for several years so I know how much work goes into these. I can't believe how fast you are progressing!

CD looks great. I'm glad you're feeling more yourself. I am at that place, not feeling like myself, being unhappy. I can't seem though to find my way back. I'm going to try though.

CD is such a gorgeous piece, I love the jewel tone colors in it and look forward to your updates. So sorry to hear you hit a deer earlier, I'm glad you're ok and your car wasn't seriously damaged. What a wonderful time it looks like you had on your recent stitching getaway, and the scenery was beautiful. Glad the frogs stayed in the pond. :)
Glad also to hear you're feeling more yourself, hopefully it stays that way.

That's a lot of stitchy progress! I think it's what has improved your attitude!

It sounds like your body is having a hard time adjusting to your weight loss...do you take estrogen, or any other hormone supplements? The mood change sounds like your hormones are messing with you...I hope I didn`t insult you (I don`t know how old you are) but when I was 30-ish I had a hysterectomy and now it`s really REALLY hard to lose weight. Also, some other meds can make it hard to lose weight...esp anti-depressants...

Your stitching is gorgeous, as always.

I'm doing the same 2lbs on, 2lbs off. It is getting old and no matter what I do, I seem stuck in this up/down cycle. AUGHHHH is how I really feel!

Good luck getting to the gym. I'm not-so-patiently waiting for my new gym to open up.
