Arrived Safe And Sound!& Stitching Bloggers Question

Oh My Gosh! I'm in a techno wonderland! Claire's fiancee is completely into computers. I'm sitting here in Chattanooga Tennessee there are three of us sitting here on laptops in Claire's living room. Todd and I are in heaven! We don't have high-speed internet in the boon-docks where we live. Nor do we have laptops!

The flight was uneventful. It was fun watching and listening to Todd as it was his first time on a plane, and he's 32 now. Also... my friend Christin says you can't take me anywhere without running into someone I know! Well it turns out there was someone I knew on my flight! One of the students from work. Yet another small world story to add to the collection!

Now onto the SBQ...

Q: When starting a new project, do you start in the middle? If you do, once you've worked down to the bottom, do you turn your chart and fabric around so that you are stitching the top section downwards again or do you just stitch upwards from the middle?

A : Once upon a time I was a center starter but now if I can I like to start my projects in the top left-hand corner. If there is an obvious border (like in TW deigns) I'll stitch that first before getting to the insides (or "meat" of the project). If not I tend to work my way down and to the right. I also like to stitch with one colour at a time using that as much as I can before switching to the next. I think its my OCD kicking in. I swear you have to have OCD to be a stitcher!

Great to hear you got there safely :-) Sounds like our house - we have two laptops and three desktops with broadband and they are all networked together... maybe we could talk you into moving to the States? :-)
